About the focus group
Girls in ICT Day is a global initiative to encourage girls and young women to consider careers in ICT. This year we invite young girls and women to sit at the table and lead the conversation on AI.
Digital Wellness Africa, in partnership with ElevateTrust and GITZ, is hosting a no-holds-barred WhatsApp focus group for girls aged 13–25 on 23 April 2026.

Your safety is important to us
This is a moderated, safe space hosted by Digital Wellness Africa.
A trained facilitator will be present in your group throughout the session. You are never required to share anything personal. Participation is voluntary - you may leave at any time.
For participants aged 13–17: parental or guardian awareness of your participation is encouraged. All conversations are confidential and will not be shared publicly without your permission. Quotes used in our post-event report will be anonymised.
